ABSTRACT

Covid-19 is a completely new problem, and we have seen it move to a brand new level. After the 3rd wave of Covid-19 in India and predictions of another wave this year it is a major concern and still many people are not following basic precautionary measures like wearing a mask in public locations this can be solved by our face mask detection program we want to be short a good way to respond to new facts, which they are all around us. Growing a secure environment can be paramount the human to make lifestyles as smooth as ever. Alternatives have to be taken to protect all who go back and to maintain them our loved ones who have no troubles. New era packages are being made each day to satisfy regulations and regulations but, the face mask becomes a new well known used for regular existence, but, to create a more secure surroundings that contributes to public protection, a want to be diagnosed at some stage in date and motion towards people who do not put on masks in public locations or offices. Many sections of the general public appear to simply accept Covid adherence protection gear. A face masks detector is among the most crucial equipment. This software allows one to find out who does not have the desired face masks. Those applications with them current tracking systems and neural network algorithm to see if an individual has put on a mask or not. About this, we'll do discussion in short the synthetic intelligence and its small additives specifically device gaining knowledge of and in-intensity analysing, in-intensity reading frameworks followed with the aid of the usage of simplicity implementation of face masks detection machine. © 2022 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

TOPIC: Chest Infections TYPE: Original Investigations PURPOSE: Black and Hispanic patients are reported to have higher mortality rates associated with COVID-19 than White patients. There is a paucity of data exploring the effects of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in COVID-19 patients in respect to race. This study examines differences in outcome between White and Minority COVID-19 patients treated with ECMO in a community hospital. METHODS: This is a retrospective observational study of all patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) secondary to COVID-19 who were treated with ECMO at a tertiary cardiovascular care center between March and December 2020. Patients were stratified into two groups: White and Minority patients. The Minority group was composed entirely of Blacks and Hispanics. Patient demographics, hemodynamics, lab values, treatments, outcomes, and complications were recorded. The primary outcome of interest was mortality. The secondary outcome was rate of ECMO-related complications. RESULTS: We identified 23 consecutive COVID-19 patients with ARDS treated with ECMO, of which 7 (30.5%) were White and 16 (69.5%) were Minorities. 6 White and 13 Minority patients were treated with veno-venous ECMO, with the remaining patients in each group treated with veno-arterial ECMO. There was no significant difference in baseline demographics between groups. Minority patients were found to have a lower mortality rate than White patients (62.5% vs 85.7%, p<0.001). There was no significant difference between groups in the rate of ECMO-related complications, including pneumothorax (p=0.276), hospital-acquired infection (p=0.105), circuit clots (p=0.301), deep vein thrombosis (p=0.243), and major bleeding requiring transfusion (p=0.301). CONCLUSIONS: In our small study, Minority patients appear to have a lower mortality rate in comparison to White patients with ARDS secondary to COVID-19 who were treated with ECMO. Limitations of this study include the small sample size and unequal group sizes. CLINICAL IMPLICATIONS: Larger studies are needed to further explore differences in clinical characteristics and outcomes between Minority and White COVID-19 patients treated with ECMO. ABSTRACT

Currently, the outbreak of the novel human respiratory coronavirus, also popularly known as COVID-19, has sought the attention of the scientific community across the world and stresses on the need for new therapeutic alternatives in order to cease the global health crisis and fight the pandemic. The situation, therefore, calls out for new researchcentred on targeting the pathogen. A number of studies reveal the potential of different chemical moieties that could possibly act against the virus. In our work, we report the semi-empirical based 3D-QSAR 3D-quantitaive structure and activity relationship/QSAR studies of 3 series of compounds viz. Ethacrynic Acid Derivatives (E1-E3), Isatin (2,3-oxindole) Inhibitors (I1-I7) and Flavonoid and Biflavonoid Derivatives (F1-F7) on the basis of their reported activities against SARS Co-V. The studies are carried out on Hyperchem 8.0 version software using AM1 and PM3 methods. Selected QSAR/3D-QSAR equations including different physical parameters of these series are reported.
